Arizona
Arizona has long been celebrated for its sweeping desert vistas, red rock mountains, unique desert flowers, sensational sunsets and diverse natural wonders. The Mesa, Apache Junction and Gold Canyon areas located east of Phoenix are examples of all these attributes. The area has nearly 320 days of sunshine each year.

Mesa
Mesa is one of the fastest growing metropolitan cities in the U.S. It is located east of Phoenix and is emerging as a leader, evolving higher living standards and energizing the economy. The entire Phoenix area, including Mesa, hosts many major league baseball teams during spring training. There are museums, fine restaurants, dinner theaters, art galleries, concert venues and, of course, more than 40 golf courses within a half-hour from downtown Mesa. For the outdoors person, there are activities such as hiking, horseback riding, horse racing, river rafting, to name a few.

Apache Junction
Apache Junction is located east of Mesa in the shadow of the beautiful Superstition Mountains. It is approximately 30 minutes from Phoenix. Visitors will see the wonders of these mountains and speculate about the whereabouts of the Lost Dutchman Gold Mine.

Gold Canyon
Gold Canyon is located at the foothills of the Superstition Mountains, east of Apache Junction. It is an up and coming area and the views from every direction are breathtaking.

Accessibility
The entire area is accessible by the interstate and state highway system. The Sky Harbor International Airport is located east of Phoenix, about a 35 minute drive from this area.

Come and Visit
When visiting the Mesa, Apache Junction and Gold Canyon areas, you will find everything for a great leisure experience. There are lakes for fishing, boating, rafting, skiing and steamboat rides. There are trails for hiking and horseback riding. There are museums, a ghost town and, of course, golf. As you can see, this area has much to offer the entire population whether you are a seasonal visitor or a year-round resident.
